Working Together for a Sustainable Thriving Planet

Planetary Sustainability is defined as a relationship between the planet and and the people where the planet's resources are maintained and renewed at least as fast as we deplete them. It's like a man on a tread mill walking just fast enough not to go backwards. If the man goes over the edge, the game is over. To sustain is one thing, to thrive is another. According to the laws of nature everything thrives together. When any one part of the whole is removed its ceases to perform its function and there is an increase of tension as the other parts of the whole compensate to pick up the burden. Just as the human body has organs that are separate and different with radically different relationships to the whole, likewise each part of the biosphere: ecosystems, species, cultures, mountains, oceans and forests, all play a role. Even insignificant little creatures like bacteria perform vital functions upon which all life on the planet depends on. If you remove, deplete, poison, overburden, or destroy any organ or system of the body, disease and death ensue. Likewise, every life-form, ecosystem, and culture form an integral interdependent whole.

A thriving planet has the natural abundance that happens when all the parts work together as a whole. Just as the human in whole has much greater value than the sum value of the organs added up. Likewise, the value and abundance for all is far greater when the parts recognize their interdependence and work together in "win-win" relationships. This is called symbiosis. Imagine a body who's organs all believe that their obvious differences mean that they are completely separated and that the others are less important. As time goes on the organs compete for resources and even poison or attack each other! If any organ wins the war and destroys the other organ, it's a loss for the whole! Do you think it's any different with the biosphere? Of course not. That's why its important for humans to acknowledge their interdependence with the environment and each other and learn how to thrive together. Wouldn't you be happier thriving than just surviving! Of course! Likewise everyone benefits when anyone contributes to a sustainable thriving planet.

In a just a few decades human beings have decimated much of the planet. Earth has gone from what seemed like from a pristine gem, with lush vibrant landscapes, to a desert-like time bomb with polluted oceans and rivers. Modern man has already depleted or destroyed many of the planet's resources while poisoning the oceans and rivers. Even the soil most food grows in is now toxic! Huge numbers of fish, mammals, birds and plants are going extinct en mass as huge links in the web of life are destroyed. All life in the biosphere is threatened by the inability of the planet to sustain the basic natural cycles that have allowed life to survive 225,000 million years before mankind invented diet soda, fake food, pharmaceuticals, and went nuclear.

If you let a small child play with matches he or she will burn themselves and hopefully learn in the process what not to do. Hopefully they won't burn the house down or kill themselves through ignorance in the process of learning. When powerful technology is in the hands of fear and greed based special interest groups, whose collective mental development exceeds their experience and awareness of the repercussions of their actions, then you have a recipe for destroying a planet within just a few generations.

We are the generation facing this issue! Luckily there are solutions for every problem. There are many freelance inventors, researchers, organizations, and development teams with brilliant solutions and restoration protocols for healing the planet as fast and completely as possible. Amazing technologies exist that can transform the damage already done and help man reestablish a symbiotic relationship with the planet! The cost of implementing these solutions on a global scale could easily cost several billion dollars. Unfortunately, the institutionalized mind is not keen on getting out of its comfort zone or redirecting funds from narrow minded special interest groups. Therefore it is necessary for individuals and companies who are aware of these issues to co-operate and work together for the greater good of the whole, ensuring the continuity of life and the possibility for the children who will inherit the Earth we pass on. They can inherit a sustainable thriving planet of abundance, prosperity, and opportunity for peaceful symbiotic relationship with the environment and each other. Nobody is going to "Save the Planet" for you! -We must work co-operatively together so the children of today have a home to grow up in. Global transformation starts at home, inside yourself, with the decision to be sustainable in your own affairs. Learn to use products that don't deplete, poison, or pollute the ground, air, or water (body mind soul)! Educate yourself! Support the policies, companies, and nonprofit charities that are working directly to implement solutions to these problems!

We all play our part...

Maybe you personally aren't in a position to donate a million dollars but you can make product, service, and lifestyle choices that contribute greatly to the healing and restoration of our planets vital links in the web of life.
